Are my images uploaded when I rotate them?
No. Rotation happens entirely in your browser using the Canvas API, so the image never leaves your device or touches a server. Nothing is uploaded, stored, or shared, which keeps your photos completely private.
Which rotation angles can I use?
You can rotate clockwise by 90°, 180° or 270°. A 90° turn moves the image a quarter-turn to the right, 180° flips it upside down, and 270° turns it a quarter-turn to the left. Width and height are swapped automatically for the 90° and 270° turns.
Will rotating reduce my image quality or change the format?
Quarter-turn rotations are lossless in terms of pixels — no resampling occurs, so detail is preserved. The output keeps your original format too: a PNG stays a PNG, and JPG or WebP files keep their type when you download the result.
