Yes, it is completely private. Everything you type stays in your own browser using localStorage, and nothing is ever sent to a server or uploaded. Because it runs entirely in-browser, even your network connection never sees the text.
Will my note still be there after I close the tab or browser?
Yes. The notepad autosaves to your browser's localStorage a moment after you stop typing, and it restores your note automatically the next time you open the page in the same browser. Note that it is tied to that specific browser and is cleared if you press the Clear button or wipe your browser data.
Can I save my note as a file?
Yes. Click Download .txt to save your note as a plain-text file directly from your browser. The download is generated locally with no upload, so it works offline and keeps your text private.
