Frequently asked questions
Are my title, image, and URL uploaded anywhere?
No. The entire preview is rendered locally in your browser — your title, description, URL and image link never leave your device and nothing is stored on a server. It works even with the network tab offline once the page has loaded.
Why does my title or description get cut off in the preview?
Social platforms truncate long Open Graph text, so the card mirrors that behaviour by trimming titles to about 60 characters and descriptions to about 120. The live counters under each field show how much will actually be shown, helping you write copy that fits.
What image size should I use for og:image?
A 1200×630 pixel image (1.91:1 ratio) gives the sharpest, most reliable result across Facebook, LinkedIn, Slack and X. The preview card uses that same ratio, so you can spot cropping or low-resolution images before you publish your page.
